Our Mission

To provide a fun, customizable, and unforgettable arrive and drive trackday experience. Track usage can be hard on a vehicle, both cosmetically and mechanically. Vehicle prep and maintenance for track use is costly and time consuming. Maybe you want to try out this track driving thing before you buy a track car, or you live across the country and shipping your vehicle out to the west coast doesn't make financial sense. There are many great reasons to rent, and whatever yours may be we make it easy to get behind the wheel of one of our exciting track cars on some of the most iconic racetracks in America!

We service many of California's tracks, including Laguna Seca and Sonoma Raceway. We can provide track specific driver coaching upon request. Customize your experience with your favorite tire, driver coaching, laptiming, in-car driver cam and/or external video for sharing on your social, and more.

Drive with Us

When you book with us, you unlock access to one of our track prepped pavement punishers. The cars are fastidiously maintained for track usage, including regular fluid change intervals, proper fastener torques, and track-biased suspension alignments. Brakes and tires will be in new or good-used condition. The 10-speed automatic transmission in the Camaro means anyone can jump in and drive with very little preparation. For experienced manual transmission drivers seeking maximum engagement, the M3 offers an ultra-intuitive platform to hone your skills with. What are you waiting for?

Included with your booking:

  • Fuel - In order to simplify your day, we factor this cost into your booking price.

  • Tires - New or good used condition. Multi-day bookings are likely to receive new tires. Let us know if you have a specific tire you want.

  • All-Day Trackside Support - We'll make sure the car is ready for you, including keeping fuel topped up, setting tire pressures, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, etc.

  • Track insurance - (all drivers must be at least 25 years of age)

  • Free entry-level coaching - We want you to experience the full potential of the car, so if you have driven less than 5 trackdays total we will help you get up to speed safely with some basic coaching and guidance.

    • Optional Add-on: Intermediate driver coaching - For drivers who want to progress faster, we offer intermediate level driver coaching. We tailor our approach based on your experience and goals, but generally this includes a selection of the following: racing line theory, driver inputs analysis, vision practices, brake point selection, advanced braking techniques, in-car instruction, data analysis and video review.

  • PDR/AIM video w/data overlay - "Roof cam" perspective or in-car video with data overlay showing speed, RPM, gear, throttle/brake, steering angle, G-loads, track map, and more.

NOT Included with your booking:

  • Helmet and safety gear - Most people prefer to use their own gear, so we do not typically offer "loaner" gear.  Helmets must be Snell 2015 or newer and comply with your trackday organizer rules. Closed toe shoes must be of an appropriate design, e.g. driving or racing shoes (no running shoes or anything with a "heel"). Inquire if unsure. NOTE: if for some reason you cannot provide your own helmet, let us know and we'll figure out a way to get you what you need.

  • Trackday registration - You are responsible for registering with your trackday organizer. We will not book or invoice you until you have provided proof of trackday registration.

  • Garage rental - Work with your trackday organizer if you want to have a covered garage space.

  • Track entry fee - Some tracks charge a small entry fee (e.g. $10/day). Plan to have cash on hand to pay this.

  • Guaranteed track time - If the trackday runs smoothly you should get your expected amount of seat time. If there are lots of off-tracks, vehicle breakdowns, red flags, etc and the trackday organizer needs to reduce the duration of some sessions, we cannot offer a refund for loss of time. Same goes if you get black flagged for driving in an unsafe manner and get pulled off track. However, if there is an issue with the car that reduces your seat time we will do our best to make it right with you.

  • Unlimited track time - Our pricing is structured around a typical 5 x 20min session HPDE event. We cannot offer the same pricing for "open track" type days, and we ask that continuous driving sessions be no longer than 30min.

  • Track insurance deductible - In the unlikely event of vehicle damage, you will be responsible for up to the full amount of the track insurance deductible.

How to Prepare

Plan to arrive at the track at least 20min before your drivers meeting. Please do not miss your drivers meeting or any of your session download meetings to ensure maximum seat time.

Plan to allow 10-15min to get to know the car, adjust everything to your liking, learn the different driving modes, etc.

If this will be your first time at a specific track or configuration, it is highly recommended to spend some time watching driving line demonstration videos, let us know if you would like some suggestions.

If you have purchased driver coaching we can tailor content to meet your goals and skill level. For some this may be honing driver inputs, picking reliable braking points, and teaching situational awareness and good vision practices. For others this could also include in-car coaching, video and data review, reference lap comparison, and driving line critique. Whatever your goals may be, you will improve faster with our 1-on-1 coaching.

West Coast Track Guide

Buttonwillow Raceway Park

Fun, safe, technical, and challenging, with a good variety of corner types. Many configurations available, including CW and CCW.

Streets of Willow Springs

Narrow and technical, SOW will teach you to be precise and measured with the throttle. Great track for both novices and experienced drivers.

Chuckwalla Valley Raceway

Endless corners reward patience and favor cars with aero. Trackside cabins make for a unique and family friendly experience, but make sure to book your on-site accommodations early!

Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca

World class track with mega elevation change, flowing corners, and one of the most iconic turns in motorsport. This is a power track that punishes brakes and splitters. Watch out for the sausage curbs!

Sonoma Raceway

Very challenging track to learn, with many blind corners, bumps, abrupt elevation changes, suspension breaking curbs, and walls. Lots of walls. One of the most fun laps in the West!

Thunderhill Raceway Park

Two tracks in one. The east circuit is wide, fast, and flowing, but watch out for turn 9. The west circuit is tight and twisty. Pick your poison, or combine them into one 5 mile circuit for a full mental and physical workout.

Podium Club at Atessa

This recent addition to the west coast has a good variety of corner types, plentiful runoff, and fresh pavement. Don't be afraid to use all the curb for push laps.

Safety

Safety is of the utmost importance to us at Increment Laps. The vehicle you will be driving is properly maintained and in good working condition to ensure everyone goes home safely. All manufacturer designed vehicle safety systems remain unaltered and in place to provide the best possible protection for all occupants. Note this is not a racecar, and there are no provisions for HANS usage as we have retained the OEM 3-point seatbelt. However, we do allow use of a Simpson Hybrid S if you own one and prefer to use it. Helmets used must be Snell 2015 or newer, and abide by any additional restrictions set in place by the trackday organizer. Closed toe shoes are mandatory and must be of an appropriate design, e.g. driving or racing shoe (no running shoes, boots, or anything with a "heel"). We always encourage the use of fireproof suits, gloves, underwear, balaclavas, etc. if you have them.

We want all participants to be able to push the car and drive quickly, while in a safe and controlled manner. However, if we feel at any time that a driver is pushing outside of their comfort zone or skill boundaries to the point of endangerment of themselves or others, we reserve the right to cut short the current session.

In extreme circumstances (multiple off-track excursions, abusive driving behavior, missed flags, etc) we may end the driving day altogether.

We would hate to have to do this, so let's keep it on track and drive within our limits!
